Fleay’s Wedding Showcase
What’s the most anxiety-inducing part of a wedding? You only get one shot at it. There’s a reason they call it your big day. Navigating the minefield of guests, venues, catering, invites, dresses and bridesmaids can be tough when you don’t get many chances to practise! This is why Fleay’s Events hosted their first wedding showcase in April, to bring engaged couples the unique chance to take all the planning out of their head and see it in action.
The venue was splendidly decorated by expert stylists, featuring wedding-ready ceremony and reception spaces. Including guest seating arrangements, dining settings, dance floors and bars. Over 100 couples and their families took up the unique opportunity to explore the entire venue at their own pace. With instant and easy access to the lineup of wedding suppliers that were invited to share their experience and liaise with the couples.
Supply Partners
Showcase attendees benefitted most from the opportunity to engage directly with the suppliers that were on site. A number of established industry suppliers were given space at the showcase to display their work and interact with couples. Located in the major ceremony and reception areas in the venue, these select suppliers were able to mingle with couples as they toured the spaces. As well as complete the venue’s look and contribute examples of their work to the showcase.
The list of amazing experts that came to see our wonderful venue and the couples that attended included all the wedding day essentials like celebrants, stylists, musicians, DJs & entertainers, fairylight hire, bridal wear providers, photographers, makeup artists and featured those fantastic, personal additions many couples can easily miss out on, like audio guestbooks from The Message Co.
This gave couples the chance to have a personal interaction, have all of their questions answered and see first hand what a professional touch can do for celebrating the biggest day of their life.
