Trade the hotel ballroom for a rainforest. Fleays hosts conferences, workshops, team days and end of year functions for up to 150 guests inside a Gold Coast wildlife park, with catering, AV and coordination handled on site. Venue hire from $350, catering from $35 per person.

Fleays is the easy way to make a corporate event different, without adding risk. Your conference, workshop or offsite happens inside David Fleay Wildlife Park, a rainforest sanctuary in the heart of Burleigh Heads, with AV-equipped rooms built for presentations and a team that runs the logistics end to end.
Catering is cooked on site by our own kitchen, the AV is built in or arranged through our partners, and a dedicated coordinator handles setup, staffing and pack down. You get a polished event to present upwards, with nothing left to chance.

From a boardroom-style workshop for twenty to a whole-of-company conference for one hundred and fifty, choose the space that fits your event. The Fleays Dining Room is our largest, seating 130 theatre style.
Fleays Dining Room
Our biggest space, with a portable projector screen, built-in sound system and wireless microphone. Built for whole-company conferences, all-staff briefings and end of year functions.
Treetop Terrace
An undercover, semi enclosed deck with timber features and views over the treetops. Works for a theatre-style briefing or a stand-up networking session, and stays dry if the weather turns.
Garden Lawn
An open air lawn surrounded by green, fully fenced and private. A relaxed choice for a stand-up networking function or a break-out space alongside an indoor session.
Rainforest Room
A private, air-conditioned room with rainforest wallpaper, timber floors and built-in AV including a projector, sound system and WiFi. Ideal for a board meeting, workshop or smaller team retreat.
Book the room, then choose your catering
Venue hire is priced by session length and includes staffing, furniture and WiFi. Catering is added separately from a minimum of twenty guests, so you only pay for what your event needs.

Delegate packages, breakfast and lunch
Choose a full or half day delegate package for a workshop or conference, or build your own from our breakfast and lunch menus. Everything is cooked on site, no external caterers to chase.
Also available: Buffet Breakfast $42pp, Classic Plated Breakfast $55pp, BBQ Buffet Lunch $45pp and Plated Dining Lunch $60pp. Lunch upgrades from $10pp. Evening events and gala dinners are built to your run sheet and quoted individually. Coffee and tea station $5pp; barista coffee and cold drinks on consumption or a tab; licensed bar from a $300 minimum spend. No BYO food or drinks.
Add an animal encounter to the run sheet
This is the part a hotel conference room cannot offer. Because your event is inside a working wildlife park, you can add a close up animal encounter or a guided ranger tour, a genuine talking point for a team day or client function that a slideshow cannot match.

Prices are for up to 10 guests, minimum 10 people. Additional guests $10.35 each for encounters and $11.60 each for ranger tours. Encounters and tours run between park opening hours of 9am to 4pm, subject to the daily park schedule and availability.

A 20% administration fee and a signed booking form secure your date. Popular corporate dates book out early.
We run the day
Your coordinator handles the setup, the AV, the catering and the timings. You turn up and run the event.
Questions we get asked
It depends on the space and the layout. Theatre-style capacity runs from 35 in the Rainforest Room up to 130 in the Fleays Dining Room, with classroom seating from 20 up to 50. For a stand-up networking event, the Dining Room holds up to 150 standing, our largest corporate configuration.
Catering packages require a minimum of 20 guests. Venue hire itself has no guest minimum, so a smaller meeting or workshop can book a room without ordering full catering. Additional venue hire hours are $120 each.
We require a non-refundable 20% administration fee along with a signed booking form. We are happy to monitor a date for you while you decide, but a date cannot be guaranteed until the payment and signed contract are in.
Fleays does not offer BYO food or drinks. Catering is cooked and poured on site by our own team. Some rooms include built-in AV; where you need more than the standard flip charts and projector screens, additional AV equipment is priced on application through our AV partners.
All parking is complimentary, with roughly 100 spaces on site. It is worth telling delegates to arrive with a little time up their sleeve during busier periods.
Yes, the venue is fully wheelchair accessible and there is accessible parking on site. Let our team know what you need and we will recommend the best space for your group.
Sunday events incur a 10% surcharge and public holiday events incur a 15% surcharge. Everything else is quoted up front, so there are no surprises once you have your proposal.
